I'm a young whippersnapper compared to you guys. I was born in 1974, so I missed the one moment of glory this franchise has ever had.
It was worth it. If they never win again it was worth it

I am 48 years old. Of my big three teams, I have seen two titles in my life. TWO! 86 Mets, 94 Rangers. More than 140 titles awarded in MLB, NFL, and NHL. My teams have won two since I've been alive.
Had I picked ANY other New York area team combination, I would have seen more titles. Yanks instead of Mets? More titles. Giants instead of Jets? More titles. Either the Islanders or the Devils over the Rangers? More titles.
I am officially the kiss of death.
Thank heavens I never got into the NBA. Neither the Knicks nor the Nets would have helped my cause.

Well try being me, I was born in 1970. One year after the Jets won their Super Bowl. Can you believe that $&?! So trust me I get it, hearing these old timers talk about seeing that one special moment is special but frustrating for me. Even though I’m a old timer myself, I still missed it, Lol!

that 54 years was worse by far. for a good part of that time there were only six teams & four made the playoffs plus unlike football where you were one & done you had to lose four times to be out of the playoffs......so the Rangers are as bad as the FB Cardinals
