yeah the guy seems a bit wacky, and not in a good way the way Rex was. Still he has a good record. Think his act would wear out very quickly with the NY media.
I definitely don't want to give him total control. And certainly no draft picks

I would love Harbaugh. I also know that Incarcerated Bob's track record is sketchty.
Especially after the 49'ers lost to the Raiders even Rex couldn't do that..:smiley-bounce013:

49ers just can't trade Harbaugh to anybody, he's not a player. 49ers fans want him out, some of the lazier players want him out.
Upper management wants him out because he ruffles their feathers.
As soon as management leaked that he was "available", he lost cred with some of the players. Harbaughs a tough demanding coach, he probably coaches minutia like Belichick & that sh*t is tedious & not fun for the guys that want to just pick up their paycheck.
He holds players accountable.
I have no idea whether he wants to go back to Michigan but Jets should just be patient until 49ers can no longer wait to get another coach. There is no way he's coming back to the Niners so why give up a draft pick?
Harbaugh with high draft picks in every round & 50 million to spend is my greatest hope for these Jets.
After Rex country club, this is the kind of coach you need to separate the players from the pretenders.
Something tells me that a guy like Willie Colon would get away with leading the league in false starts & still be the starting right guard in week 14.

Rex has the Jets at 2-11 in the AFC east. He'd be 0-13 in that division.
Harbaugh lost 2 of the best LBs in the game.

This I want a hardass coach that will come in here and do all of what jetster said above..........parcells was the last coach that did this and he had us turned in the right direction and then just like always we the jets mess up on the foundation parcells gave us.

Groh and Manjerkoff both tried to be that hard ass guy. At least Groh had some basic clue how to.coach. Mangini, not so much
