Increased role for Jeremy Kerley could impact Jets' draft decision

Agree 100%

He should be gone somewhere between 15 and 20 imho
Listening to Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller on Sirius yesterday, and they have Dupree as #8 rated player in the draft. I think they might have said that he is a better prospect than Fowler, not certain of that though.

Fine with their opinions. Most other "experts" have him in the teens and behind Fowler, Beasley and Ray

I agree it's crazy how opinions differ on some of these guys. One of the NFL network guys has Ray as the 6th rated player in the draft, while others feel he could bust just as easily as succeed.

I like Kerley, nice little player, but never in a million years would I let him preclude me from drafting Cooper or White.

Sorry, but you don't pass on a potential elite #1 WR because of Jeremy Kerley, that would be foolish in my view.

i completely agree with this.

and given the wide ranging and disparate views on the various OLBs (many of which will be switching from being collegiate WRs), i tend to lean towards taking the WR (assuming mariota is gone) with the #6 pick. it's not necessarily the biggest need today, but for the long-term, we do need a true (and young) #1 WR.

I just don't see Kerely with the Jets if we select a WR in the 1st. He can garner an easy 3rd round pick for us this year.

I don't know too much...one thing in next 3 weeks..Kerley wont be traded..but barring a legal issue..Kerley will 100 percent be on the team and he should..plus MAC talked him up at the conference and I don't think it was to inflate his trade value

I don't think that is anywhere near in their mindset. it will be about BPA although depth at position could come into it...if they pass on a WR at 6 it will be to address the edge..or an OL...mainly because of the depth of the WR position

Macc never said anything except..he was excited to see him play and get more touches...it was like he was surprised after he watched all their games...
