Iowa State All-American running back Breece Hall is visiting the Texans on Wednesday, according to a league source.

He also has visits with the Washington Commanders, New York Giants and Buffalo Bills.

The Wichita, Kansas native has run the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds. The 5-foot-11, 217-pounder has a 40-inch vertical leap and a 10-6 broad jump.

In his final season as a junior before declaring for the draft, he rushed for 1,472 yards and had 302 receiving yards and 21 total touchdowns.

He finished sixth in the Heisman Trophy award balloting in 2020.

As a sophomore, he rushed d for 1,572 yards to lead the nation and had 21 touchdown runs and caught 23 passes for 180 yards and two scores. He was named first-team All-Big 12 and the conference Offensive Player of the Year and a unanimous first-team All-American.As the replacement for David Montgomery, he rushed for 897 yards and nine touchdowns as a freshman and caught 23 passes for 252 yards and one score and was named second-team All-Big 12.

He finished with 3,941 career yards and 50 touchdown runs with 82 catches for 734 yards and six scores.

He rushed for 2,127 yards and 29 touchdowns as a senior.

Hall's step father, Jeff Smith, played running back for the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and at Nebraska.

Hall's cousin is former San Francisco 49ers star running back Roger Craig,
