Is Darnold's deep ball arm strength a concern?

Today, for the third time in two days, he under-threw his WR deep and it resulted in three INT's.

Again, according to reports, all three were under-throws, and todays was the worst because his WR beat the DB and was wide open deep.

Is this something to worry about, cause the scouting reports I read all said he has a pretty strong arm.

Seemed to throw a pretty good deep ball in college. Hopefully he will get it sorted out. Maybe these guys are a little faster than what he's used to.

Every scouting report I read said the same thing, so I hope its just a tired arm or something mechanical he needs to workout.

Yeah, to early to tell about Darnold. Im pulling for him as I did for another QB I didnt want the Jets to Draft in Sanchez. I wanted Allen so bad in this Draft due to his size and arm strength and was worried Jets did the same thing passing on Moreno for Ken. Ken was a good QB but not close to Moreno. Allen made some great throws between defenders and they were rocket passes. Allen still working on foot work that causes poor throws but still you can see his skill. I hope Darnold comes out being accurate and not telegraphing passes. I dont expect much from him as I did Sanchez and my bar is low for him tonight. Over all I hope at worst he is an average top twenty NFL QB when all is said and done. Darnold IMO, needs to sit a year and learn as much as he can and build up arm strength (weights)to be ready for 2019 season and that is his BEST shot to be a feesable NFL QB. Too bad we have a bad HC and a GM who drafts to protect his Job that cause him to take Darnold because ranking. Mikey might to better instead of listening to other teams and think for himself by seeing potential. Thats how Jets GM Drafted the last QB listening to other teams. Clean house of HC`, GM Woody!
