Is Perriman the new top dog at WR?

For some reason I thought you liked White over Cooper.

I can't speak from a knowledgeable viewpoint, but from a fan who has been reading this stuff for months, here's my list in order of "excitement" about grabbing a WR early:

1) Cooper in the 1st
2) Strong in the 2nd
3) White in the 1st
4) Agholor in the 2nd
5) Dorsett/Perriman in the 2nd

(Couldn't list Parker anywhere because I don't want him at 6 and there's NO way he's making it to 37)

Please -- disagree! Everything you guys say just gives me more to look forward to a week from now. (I mean c'mon, even your turds know more than those TV guys, right?:smiley-dance017:)

Watch and learn? The kid dropped 12 passes last year and only caught 4 TDs despite being 6'3 215lbs

Dorsett at 5'10 at Miami only caught 33 passes...and 12 for TDs. You realize Dorsett caught more TDs as a 5'10 senior than Sammie "no hands" Coats caught his entire career at Auburn. Even at the senior bowl he said he reached his goal his last year at Auburn by dropping no more than 1 ball per game...as a junior, he was even worse...

If you're looking for the Stephen Hill type prospect of this draft who will "wow" you one moment then drop a bomb running wide open the very next play, it's Sammie Coats. Two dropped balls in the senior bowl game as well, including a TD...(he had an offensive PI in that game also...)

Like I initially said..alot is QB dependent.....put White on Redskins,Raiders, Jets or Perriman on them..or put Coates on the Pats or even Saints like happened in our draft with Pats ....and lets bet who has better stats....

With that stat about drops..at least he is improving....

Coates played against real defenses unlike Perriman and White (the BIG 12 IS THE ARENA LEAGUE)

Im I mostly am saying he should be put in the same sentence..same speed..just as athletic...with a QB Marshall who was a converted DB...

and the bottom line is....4 years from now...the best WR out of this class could be ANY of the first 10 mentioned....

...except Coates...there is 0% chance he will be the best WR in this class...but the 9 ahead of him? yes, any could be the top WR from this class.

I've only watched 2 Jaelen Strong games @ Arizona State, but even though he is listed @ 6'3"/215, to me he looked heavy, not fat but big for a WR. Plus he's no burner (4.55) and has no 2nd gear to run away from the DB's.

Keep an eye on Justin Hardy 5'11"/190 from ECU as our next flanker/ slot guy. He has had several meetings with the Jets who like him. He could be a 4th round steal.

Go Jets...Cyborg
