Is the D better (more talent) now then at this time last year

My initial guess is yes. I think the D Line is marginally better, LB are marginally better and secondary is much better. Obviously a lot will depend on Bailey‘s development and WMD improving
Thoughts????

First off, last year was a disaster, so improvement is inevitable and expected. Adding the veteran pieces (Davis, Fitzpatrick and Onyemata) will be huge. The interior DL will be much better, particularly with the run stoppers Sweat and Onyemata, and the edge will be fun to see develop with the two young guys. I also expect Sherwood to bounce back in a big way playing alongside Davis who will be wearing the green dot. The secondary should be better, hopefully much better with the additions of Fitz, Wright, and Ponds and the return from injury of Thomas. Hopefully also, Glenn has those play calling superpowers.

I should have been a bit clearer on this thread. Last year we had the Williams brothers, JJ, Sauce and Cisco. They have been replaced with Sweat/Onyemata, Davis, Bailey, Wright/Ponds and Fitzpatrick. We improved depth wise, but I think Quinnen is better than Sweat/Onyemata, Davis is better that Quincy, Sauce is better than Wright/Ponds, Fitzpatrick is better than Cisco (still on the team). The question mark is Bailey better than JJ. I believe he is (only because I was never a fan of JJ) Obviously improvement from WMD and Sherwood are an absolute must
