is there any scenario the jets would draft rosen??

I'm still where I was 6-8 months ago - Sam Darnold is the clear #1 and then Rosen. My worst fear would be Mayfield - too many question marks surrounding a guy from a system in that conference with smallish hands that would play in the weather of Jersey, Buffalo, NE, etc. My only issue with Rosen is durability - I watched a lot of him at UCLA and he just seems to break. Not being especially mobile makes him an easy target too. I'm lost on Josh Allen - he's got the size and arm strength, but how does he process what he sees? He scored high on the Wunderlic, but so did Ryan Fitzpatrick - if you think too much with the ball it's paralysis by analysis. From an odds standpoint, Rosen is the safest bet in terms of skillset. I'd love Darnold, but I'd settle for Rosen. Beyond that I have serious doubts.

Remember what happened to Alex Smith his rookie season with SF? They put him behind a terrible o-line, he got the snot knocked out of him, he got injured, and everyone called him a bust.

Then he goes to KC, who actually had blockers, and becomes a good QB.

My point? No matter who the Jets draft, they better keep him upright unless they want Alex Smith 1.0. I’m guessing the Jets are going to go heavy o-line in FA and the draft next year in preparation for Rosen or Mayfield. (Yes, I’m predicting it’ll be one of them).

I believe the Jets will have to trade up with the Giants or Browns to get either Darnold or Rosen unless their set on taking Mayfield or Allen. IMO the jets would have to give up ILB Lee and a #1 next year. including the #3 this year.

only way I'm moving up at this point is to get Darnold - after that they need to just make best of who is left. A LOT of pressure on the GM here to get it right (thank you Capt Obvious) and to surrender the draft capital that he did, he better know he's getting someone he wants.

Jets stay at 3! Watching these QB's in Draft I have thought about Mayfield being a little more accurate than Rosen-Allen. But a lot of Mayfield passes while accurate, are wobbly, and in the cold and wind a wobbly pass will not sail very well in Jets stadium. So I have to think the Jets best choices now are Allen or Rosen for playing at JETS home in cold windy weather. Still concerned about Rosens concussion issues. So Jets I hope pass on taking Mayfield who is better in a Domed Stadium at QB. JETS TAKE ALLEN OR ROSEN, FORGET MAYFIELDS WOBBLY PASSES! He is a Dome Stadium passer out of weather QB & not JETS.

Darnolds smaller hands like Mayfields is the same issue in cold windy weather and Jets should pass on these types of QB's made for Domes and sunny weather stadiums. Allen-Rosen built for Jets cold windy weather.

Get Rosen.. the USC QB track record ain't the best... Yes I buy into that... Barkley and the PSU RB curse too... Hopefully they both do good but not as good as Rosen, if we get him
