So far it is. Lets see what happens when Darnold comes back. Herndon will be back. Mosley better be back.

losing streak of 8 games to open the year, 1 win and bye week finishing with 7 consecutive losses. Don't think we will come close to that low. Especially given the weak schedule to close the season.

I say we probably win three games max at this point. The schedule actually finishes pretty strong (not in our favor) for our Jets. We have the Cowboys, Patriots and Jaguars over the next three weeks. Doesn't matter where we play them or who we play them with, even with a full roster the Jets are going to lose these three games. After that they play the Dolphins, Giants, Redskins, Raiders, Bengals and the Dolphins again. In that span of 6 games, MAYBE (notice the emphasis on this) we can win 3 of them. After that, we play the Ravens, Steelers and Bills and we know those will be three more losses. (3-13) it appears to be people! We’ve had quite a few seasons like this so the record doesn’t indicate it being the worse but with the expectations of the season being much better then this, it just might be the worse.

Tough one for me was the 1992 season. Browning Nagle leads us to 5-0 in preseason (yup we played five preseason games then). So like every time the Jets win a few games, the fans and media are predicting Super Bowl. But this is the Jets so reality is that Nagle fumbles the opening snap in our first regular season game and we go 4-12. Classic disaster.
Could be worse, you could be a Falcons fan. We KNOW we have a terrible roster, they have no excuse.
How about trading Adams and Bell and half of Bell's salary for the rest of his contract to the Chiefs in return for their next two #1 draft picks? The idea would be to stop the Patriots from strolling to another SB and give Jets fans another team to root for. If we spend the Chiefs picks (which are bound to be in the bottom half) on guards and our own 2 #1's (which are bound to be in the top six) on C/LT, we could be on the road back towards being competitive in two years.

can't trade adams.. i've been told by many jet fans (& essentially the entire NFL media) the guy is all world as well as a great leader of men..

Worse? Hmmm Gaise is heading there and fast with NO imagination in his playbook. But hey it gives Jets a TOP Draft pick for new GM to get the next Jets QB in case Darnold isnt the guy next year. Then we as fans dont have to go 5 years with an awful QB and just plug in the next one and Draft another QB for if he isnt the QB! Keep Drafting QB's until we get it right and then build this team. Right now Darnold didnt look like much and this year also couldnt take Jets offense against the Bill 80 yards. J E T S Jets Jets Jets Drafting QB frenzy till we get one! Could do what Cards did rip the bandaid off and get a new Head Coach and QB next year and win. Scotch! Scotch you must be stoked over your Cards 1 year rebuilding firing HC and Drafted a new QB! Saints, especially when Brees is back. Saints would have beaten the Pats last year if they didn't get boned by the refs on that non-PI call.
