We need a bell cow at RB. Dont like the RB by committee. But i do like Crowell as a change of pace back. Mcguire isnt that great, i think Crowell and him are similar in style but Crowell is a lot better
If Maccagnan isn’t on the phone offering Jensen from Baltimore a rich contract, he should have his head examined. He’s exactly what we need to button up this o-line.

Really on the fence about this signing. Like the RB, not thrilled with the baggage he brings. Hopefully he stays out of trouble.
Let’s hope he’s behind those issues and he uses his brain before tweeting. I have no respect for any one that is condoning the killing of cops.
lets hope he can get off to a good start here bc things can get pretty rough in the media and in the stands. will he be able to stand the heat?

He owned his mistake that time with the cop killing tweet , apologized and donated a game check to police charity. But I still have concerns about the firearms charge that got him kicked out of Georgia. I'm hoping he was gotten his life together , we don't need any additional distractions on the roster.
He's an asshole and will be next to impossible to root for.
The 49ers beat out the Jets on two players. C Weston Richburg and RB Jerick McKinnon.
Damn. McKinnon was a breakout player for the Vikings. Extremely shifty and fast. He would’ve been a great signing for the Jets. Oh well...

I wish we got Richburg but that's okay. I hope that once all the other key positions are filled out, we can start focusing on depth at oline
Glad we didn't sign Richburg honestly. McKinnon was pretty much ready to sign with the Jets but the 49s threw a bunch of additional money at him. I'm guessing Mac didn't want to raise his bid.
I think McKinnon got 4/30. That’s a lot of dough.
Yet Bell is crying over $14.5 million....
overall I'm happy with the Moves Mac has made so far.
NFL Network just said he offered Cousins 2 million more than the Vikings so he didn't try to overpay.
Jenson would have been nice but I like Mac signing Long and not playing the visit and bid game.
I expect more signings in the next couple of days.
Hoping for some upgrades to the o line and D line. Sad how fast our D line deteriorated......

not sold on mckinnon, and certainly not at that price. i think i read he's now the 4th highest paid RB in the league. and he's never proven to be a 16-week bell cow.
