I said at the beginning of the season that progress is what I expect. That means somewhere around a .500 record. That’s still my expectation, along with Zach taking a few steps forward. After watching the first 5 weeks, I think it’s completely realistic.

If this team wins more than 9 games, Saleh should be coach of the year. And JD should be GM of the year. This draft class is insane if you really look at it.

This!! I’ve learn to keep expectations low and just try to enjoy the games. We have a long way to go, and our biggest asset right now is never giving up!

Now once we learn to really attack teams and unleash our talent, then we can start looking at wins/losses. There is still a lot of work to do; we definitely have talent, once that talent becomes a force to recon with, we will have something special.

And here’s wishing to Lady Luck to keep us healthy throughout the season No more injuries!!

My thing is I don't want to change expectations because they have a good record right now. I said beginning of the season 3-6 at the bye and at least 7 wins would be the baseline. I'm not going to raise that. The progress is faster than I expected, so I am going to enjoy it rather than getting upset if they go 9-8 and just miss out on a wild card.

Garrett Wilson, Ty Conklin, Cory Davis, E. Moore, Breece, and Michael Carter all have more receptions than old Robbie A down is Carolina.

Just saw that Stefon Diggs told Von Miller on his podcast that he almost got traded to the Jets. So between Diggs and Tyreek Hill, JD seemed hellbent on getting Zach a true #1 WR.

That's the biggest change I see in this team. They no longer look like they're trying not to lose.

Garret Wilson and Elijah Moore are both good guys and talented as hell. They are way better people than Tyreek Hill. We have our WR1 and WR2 of the future. It hasn’t been this good since Wesley Walker and Al Toon.

The nice part about the WR group is that it is nice mix of veterans in Davis and Berrios and the youngsters in Wilson, Moore, Smith and yes even Mims. The TE group is similarly stacked with Uzomah and Conklin with young guys Ruckert, Cager and Yeboah. Really like that JD seems to have a plan - short and long-term.

Wow, after reading fellow Jets fans posts on Sundays fudge Packers vs Jets for a brief .000005 of a second had me belive we could win!! We Ive come back from gaga land of LSD and now believe Jets do have a shot at winning. But a lot of "ifs"! If no turn overs,if WRs catch the ball,if O Line protects Zach,if Jets can run the ball 50%,if Defense can get to Rogers,if Defense can cause a couple INTs,if Defense shuts down Packs running game they are going to do more of on 3rd and 2yrd and not pass. So "if" all this happens in Fudge Packers house will be one of greatest all time upsets ever. Lets Go Zach and Jets and make us fans believe

Win this game in the trenches and then control the ball and clock. Score points, don’t turn the ball over and cause a few turnovers and this game is ours. 5-0 could've been realistic. The Steelers game, they left points on the field and still won. There's been growing pains and it takes a little time for the team to realize how talented they are. This roster is solid and a middle-of-the-road record would be disappointing.
10-7 isn't too much to expect.
