I don't mean to give anyone a hard time here, but I've got to know, to those guys here who actually said that they thought we had a chance last night. Did you really believe it or were you just trying to have a positive attitude?


Here's a statement. " The jets beat the Cowboys last week so that the fans would believe that they had a chance this week". That sounds down right stupid correct? Stupid as it sounds, it's true. Just as they will win enough games by seasons end to give you hope for next year. Sad but true

Guys, cheatah s have already won this superbowl. Undefeated too. Watch them. You can feel it and know it in your heart. I don't know if they will ever lose a game again. This is clear fact. Bet $100. Win $250. We should take a collection and have one of us fly to Vegas and place the bet, because there will come a time soon where Vegas doesn't even allow betters to pick The cheatah s because it's as sure as the sun rising

You want to know what this is? Truly? Mass delusion brought about by 50+ years of losing and failure. Almost like a sports fans' version of the Stockholm Syndrome.

I've seen and heard the same b/s from fans and the media for decades every time the Jets win a game or two. Immediately it's "We're going to the Super Bowl!!" or "He's the next Joe Namath or Joe Montana!!" or "We finally turned the corner and are winning the rest of our games and going to the playoffs!!" Then we invariably come crashing back down to Earth. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Look I was close on both games except for the Jets O. My feeling is that there are teams like the saint louis blues & if the D man was going to be great maybe this was the time. But just like Uncle SAM he picked our pockets

I never thought they were going to win last night but I was praying they could at least look competitive and have some success on Offense.

That being said, I'll bet the bank that the Jets go on a run after this and win enough games to fall out of the top 4 draft spots and screw themselves again.
