I didn't expect him back. And to be honest, his age and his power running style could mean a short shelf life, anyway. I loved what he did here, but I expected him to move on.

That trade worked out tremendously for us. He plays the game full speed, I'm happy for him.

He's not a winner. He had a career year for us, but can never take the field when it counts. It doesn't matter how great he is in the first half, when his hammy snaps after 3 games. I wish he could hold up better but he's constantly hurt.

Jags forced to spend this year to conform to cap minimum obligations. They are going to vastly overpay for some mediocre talent.

Yeldon looked pretty good last year... Not sure why they decided to spend on Ivory.

Shoelace likely to be released soon, I would suspect

Thought Mo would have been a fit for Jag's with all of their cap space. Their #2 (#39) and #4 would have been nice. Wishful thinking, I guess.

obviously the money is great, but kind of a weird place for ivory to go. they already have TJ Yeldon, who is a very similar type of back.

Yep, 29 years old, violent running style, lots of millage, and already signs that he is breaking down physically. The first half of this year he was great, the second half he was just average. IMO this was too much money and years and the Jaguars will live to regret this contract. This is how NOT to use free agency, on declining vets. This is the mistake teams made when free agency first started, and the Jets made lots of these mistakes too. Teams since learned that this is not the way to use free agency, unless its cost efficient.
