No to Miami, they are building a very good group of DBs already have to play the Pat's D and Buffalo's D twice a year, let's not help Miami out. Put him out of the AFC, at least the AFC East.
At the end of the day, it will come down to the best offer though.....Hopefully that comes from one of the worst teams.

No to 85 Bears, Bo Jackson would be the pick and he would refuse to play here.
No to the 72 Dolphins, they have no first rounder to offer
No to the 07 patriots, cant risk missing out on Vernon Gholston. That extra pick could make Douglas take someone else thinking that all time jet could fall to 10.
No to 89 49ers, we would just take Reggie Rembert earlier....

Been there, done that, but I was also dumb enough to go watch them practice at Hofstra every chance I got. Lived in Levittown, short bicycle ride away ....

The trade request is the only card he can play to begin negotiations. The new CBA keeps players from holding out. If they do aside from not getting paid he gets no accured season. Jets hold all the cards. That being said, a true leader plays out his contract without complaints.

left, right or up the middle this kid is emotionally disturbed... first he wanted to make the team a winner then covid-19 happened and he wanted his money then he stayed off twitter but was a nuisance on Instagram spouting nonsense and getting into fights with probably not Jets fans and got pulled into stating something he shouldn't of...

my estimation there is a bigger problem and it is Gase, the way he relates to everyone that is not the starting QB...

if we trade him, make sure we come out on top of this mess... we have a luxury prospect who looks like he can become the real deal but we need to get this house in order before all the players like Trumaine Johnson will sign a deal and never show up on the field and this organization will remain the circus that it became when Rex Ryan was here... Not bashing Ryan's stint just the circus that occurred while he was the head man snacking every five minutes...

Joe Douglas has to figure out, career over friendship because that will be the decision he will have to make when this shit show goes entirely wrong...

I really don't know what the issue is, and frankly I no longer care. I don't believe the Jets should trade him because they can't set a bad precedent. This kid needs to mature. I haven't heard anyone complaining about Gase. And Adams hasn't either. If it's Douglas so be it. He's our GM and he's going to be a really good one, which is far important than one player. He needs to hold the line.

If the Jets trade him in the end, they shouldn't settle for less than a 1st and 2nd in my opinion.

IMO 2 1st rounders should be the starting minimum. Especially if the team is on expected to finish in the top half of the standings (back end of the 1st round.

Nobody is giving up two 1st rounders for a player that make very little impact on wins. I put his ass on the bench since we control his destiny. Under no circumstances do I trade him where he wants to go. No way I send him to Dallas. Trade him to some shithole with state tax and horrible weather.
