I think that there is almost zero chance that Maye gets dealt now. That is a good thing to me. Maye when healthy is a very good safety.Great ending to the whole shit situation.
Jets get a haul, Adam's gets to play for one of his chosen teams.
So much for the Adam's is destroying his trade value crowd.
The newly approved Covid CBA forced the deal. Adam's could have held out, no fines no penalties and the season would still toll and his option year was still guaranteed for next year.
Over under Maye is moved before the deadline if not before camp?
New Jets safety Bradley McDougald has five interceptions the last two seasons. That’s three more than Jamal Adams. You can't play future draft picks this year. How good id the player they got in return?
Later
And with Mosely and Williamson (maybe) back our LB group should be better lessening the need for a box safety. Let the LB’s take care of the short stuff and leave the safety’s for the Deep field.New Jets safety Bradley McDougald has five interceptions the last two seasons. That’s three more than Jamal Adams.

I think that they will keep all 3. Good looking dime package.Well there was speculation that Maye would move over to Strong Safety and either they would acquire a new free safety or draft one well they did both...
it's amazing to me how PFF is able to sell the horse shit about how the guy plays well in space.. LOLz when??New Jets safety Bradley McDougald has five interceptions the last two seasons. That’s three more than Jamal Adams.
I back this post 100% YEEEHAAAAAThat makes the trade all the better!!!!!!!
I like it!!!!!!
And Seattle got fleeced
I'll say it for the last time
He's so overrated !!!!!!!
Bottom line is that Adams crossed the line when he publicly bashed the Head Coach. It was unprofessional and you keep that stuff in house and try to work it out. I have no problem with this trade at all. Douglas has a plan and a culture he wants to build. If a player doesn't fit that culture, he's gone. That's perfectly reasonable. And they got more than fair value for him, so an excellent trade. 2 firsts, a third, and a safety to fill that slot for now. That sets the Jets up for some great draft capital over the next two years. We have four first round picks in the next two years, that can be franchise changing.
I liked Adams, great player, possible future HOF player. But, management couldn't let this slide. It was the right move and probably the only move. And Adams went to a team on his wish list, so he got his wish. The Jets were fair to him.
