JD’s best offseason acquisitions this year

1 DJ Reed I have yet to see this guy get beat. I’ve seen Sauce get beat, but his incredible make up speed and ball awareness makes up for it
2 Kwon Alexander. Love watching this guy play
3 Whitehead. Looked shaky early….. but very impressed with him during the winning streak
4 Duane Brown. Playing injured. Yesterday he wasn’t great, but he has been solid since entering the lineup. More faith in him than I had in Becton or Fant
5 Conklin/Uzomah. Better than what we had, but not as good as I expected. That may be more on Zach and the game planning rather than them

That’s my top 5. Thoughts??

Agree about DJ Reed. He’s been overshadowed by Sauce’s great season. But when you look at J.C. Jackson’s deal with the Chargers, and what we paid for Reed, that’s a great deal for JD. Our CB’s are lights out.

Kwon has been good. Solid player and he’s fit right in with this D.

Whitehead and Joyner have been much better of late. Joyner’s already got 3 picks.

Duane Brown had three penalties yesterday but he’s been a huge pickup holding down that LT spot. We’d be screwed without him right now, especially with the AVT injury.

I’d love to see Lafleur start emphasizing Conklin and Uzomah in this offense. Both are good players. I don’t know what’s up there. Is it Zach just not seeing them? At least Uzomah is getting some attention lately. He was M.I.A.
