Out of Coaches on Jets my Pick is the one! After Selah texts to a fan friend made public and Tee shirt silliness he has lost control of the Team! Just switch Selah to Defensive Coordinator and put Ulbrick as Head Coach! I like Selah but he rather be friends with Players to get them to play hard for him , instead of Coaching decisions that might upset Players. Can’t be a HC like that ! Just look at this Mess he has allowed to escalate. He allowed OC to start a 1st pick QB Everyone knew couldn’t start in first year behind an awful O Line not finished who needed development! Examples all over NFL MaHolnes waited a year to learn and fix Offense beforehand. Duh! He allowed teammates to criticize each other making leaders on team he thought as fiends instead of leaders. Obvious by tee shirt nonsense trashing a rookie QB that shouldn’t have started in first place and do it after a 7 game season played by kid. I’ve Never in my lifetime seen a Coach absolutely Destroy any hopes of a Kids drafted by Jets in first round after 7 games! Darnold was lucky getting 3 full seasons of games before trashed. Got to be kidding if you say you seen this done to a top prospect knowing he was a developmental player not ready to start in first year. I think he was desperate having zip at QB and allowed Zach to start . What a mess this Team is! Back to hiring old QBs and hope to win Super Bowl. Didn’t work before Farve, and not going to now. Go Raiders and pull for Jets to get their head out of Ass. After Rookie QB tells Jets No way to being drafted by them maybe Jets, fans will wake up!

I do think if the team uses the first rounder and cap space on a couple OTs, maybe swings a deal for a good #1/2 WR, the offense can be set for Rodgers for next year.

I am going to ask this in all honesty. Do you, or any Jets fan, feel like Zach would have become even a viable NFL QB had he sat for a year or two? Is there anything to show that he has that in him?

Year 5 of Joe Douglas rebuild and they are a bigger clown show than the year they fired Gase. Turning around a team doesn't take 5 years. And now I've seen that Joe Benigno has read texts between he and Rah Rah. What an embarrassment and at this point I love every second of it. I want this to burn to the ground.

The D is undisciplined and are repeatedly called for the same stupid penalties every week. DC needs to go with the rest of the staff.

Already happened. Peyton Manning went back to school to avoid being drafted by the Jets.

If one of the stud left tackles is on the board in the first round, it is a no-brainer. I don't care if Harrison Jr, Odunze, or any of the QBs are there, we have to protect the left side of our 41-y-old HOF QB. Perhaps we can get an average RG in the third, move AVT back to LG, and lose Tomlinson. This leaves RT, which might have to be Becton if he is prepared to sign for the appropriate money. Then make sure we have NFL-caliber backups.

The Woodster might want a flashy pick to sell PSLs but with any luck Rodgers will be in the draft room threatening to retire if they don't protect his blind side. Perhaps Rodgers will know how to get production from his mate Lazard.

This is such a colossal mess! Jets or Woody needs to handle this in one way or the other:

1. Run it back one more time with Joe D, Saleh and A-Rod. Use FA and those draft picks to build up the oline and get more offensive weapons. Trade down if they have to for more quality picks. Don’t draft a QB until the later rounds, like round 5 or worse and let him learn from Rodgers for a year or two.

This is probably the best financial decision and ofcourse it will make Rodgers happy. For us fans, who cares about that at this point?

2. Clean house and start all over. Cut our losses with Rodgers and pay him to retire. He’ll probably retire anyway if everyone is fired. Draft a QB with that top ten pick and build this oline, hopefully correctly this time. It will be another 3-4 year rebuild but when have the Jets NOT been in this type of situation anyway!

I don't want to see them clean house again. If anything replace JD with a more competent GM and let Saleh and his crew help building the team into their vision of what they want on both sides of the ball.

I know we've tried going after FA O linemen and no one wanted to sign here (the Zach effect), so I can't blame him for that; but his drafts have been huge swing and misses and he has to eat that. I don't think anyone he drafted with his first draft is even on the team anymore. He seems to always go for high risk players trying to swing for the fences. We need guys who can freakn play! Stop looking for the home run and draft players who can help.

I’m with you on this 1,000 percent. I don’t think they should let go of JD but I understand if they do!
