I am a Jets fan. Therefore I am being punished for my misdeeds. Maybe I didn't remember to cross at the green, not in-between. Or perhaps I post bills. When I was 13 years old, I stole a piece of candy from my friend's trick or treat bag. I have sinned, that is why the Jets will never win another championship and Tom Brady will continue winning titles until his late 60s. Face it, there is a reason why we're Jets fans. To our young readers, repent and save yourself from decades of misery.

LMFAO!!! I'm with you here my Jets friend. I've thought the same damn thing. What in the red hell have I done so wrong that I deserve this? Or what has the Jets done so wrong that they deserve a fan like me? I've thought is it me that's the jinx or are the Jets the jinx? I honestly believe that it's impossible for all of us fans to be a jinx to this team, and trust me the Jets have just as many fans as most teams do. So it can't be all us fans that are the jinz, or just me or you, it has to be the Jets.
I honestly believe and I've said it at least once or twice on other threads that Joe Namath or some other player, coach, team personnel, stadium worker or management person made a deal with the Devil for that Super Bowl victory, and they have been cursed ever since. Maybe even the owner himself back then made the deal. Someone did it and they have suffered ever since that victory. We fans are just the ones suffering with them ever since but we are the dumb ones to stick with this team when we honestly don't have to. That is the real question we should be asking ourselves.

We know for a fact that Sonny Werblin made a pact to bring the Super Bowl III Championship to the Jets. Then after the pact was fulfilled, future Jet fans would need to pay the price. My torment began when I watched the 69' Jets-KC playoffs and Namath hits a wide-open Matt Snell (our best football player ever) in the back of the helmet with a pass. He would have walked in a TD and the Jets probably would have been the team to meet the Vikings in IV. Then the flood gates open into the abyss:
1) The first Monday Night Football game - LOSS
2) MIke Curtis helmet into Namath wrist - 70' season done.
3) MIke Lucci helmet into Namath knee - 71' season done
4) Loss of John Riggins for nothing in return. Future HOF, Super Bowl MVP
5) The emergence of the Dolphins 71', 72' greatest team ever - Jets wallowing ever faster
6) The 76' All-High School Jets club led by Lou "Fighting Song" Holtz
7) Joe sent to LA, Maynard sent to Cards WTF???? So much for an organization honoring their greatest players.
8) Harper fumble on kickoff, Bills recover for TD, opening play 81'
9) Mud Bowl 82' Shula's revenge for 69', neutralizes all-world McNeil and Todd plays catch with AJ all game long
10) Paul MaQuire puts an additional curse on Jets 86' when 10-1, we don't win a remaining game.
I have to stop here (for now) otherwise I could continue for years and use up all the bandwidth of the Internet.
I'm going to Church this morning and will pray for the redemption of our collective souls. We're not all bad people...we're just a little different...when other fans get to celebrate victories...we must cry...when other teams win...we lose...when other guys get the girl..we get nothing....we're not green by accident...we're just...Jets fans
