There is a whole new set of eyes looking at this team, and I think there will be surprises. If for nothing else, there are new philosophies on both sides of the ball and on STs. That alone will cull some of the poor fits, plus the front office had the new philosophies in mind when scouting players brought in via FA and draft. Veterans like Jarrett, Babin, Pace, Colon, Barnes, Walls and Cumberland could all be cut in favor of younger, cheaper options. I'm going in with a completely open mind with all but the 'bolded' green guys in your list. I think you did a good job, but there are so many wildcards that the bottom half of the roster will be a crap shoot.

Great Job, Sarge

Mostly I agree, but below are some areas of disagreement.

Quarterback - 3
7 - Geno Smith 6'2" 221 WVU
14 - Ryan Fitzpatrick 6'2" 223 Harvard (Acquired in trade with Houston)
9 - Bryce Petty 6'3" 230 Baylor (2015 Draft Pick)

3 - Jake Heaps 6'1" 208 Miami (UDFA)
I have it exactly the same, with Heap to the Practice Squad.

Running Back - 4
33 - Chris Ivory 6'0" 222 Tiffin
29 - Bilal Powell 5'11" 207 Louisville
22 - Stevan Ridley 5'11" 220 LSU (Free Agent Signing)
38 - Zac Stacey 5'8" 224 Vanderbilt (acquired via trade with St Louis)

35 - Darryl Richardson 5'10" 206 Abilene Christian
SAME

Fullback / H Back - 0-1
40 - Tommy Bohanon 6'0" 245 Wake Forest (INJURED RESERVE 2014)
43 - JC Copeland 5'11" 260 LSU (UDFA)
SAME

Tight End - 3
88 - Jace Amaro 6'5" 265 Texas Tech
47 - Kellen Davis 6'7" 265 Michigan State (Free Agent Signing)
85 - Jeff Cumberland 6'4" 249 Illinois
44 - Zach Sudfield 6'7" 260 Nevada
86 - Wes Saxton 6'4" 235 South Alabama (UDFA)
I have Cumberland likely to make the team, Davis & Saxton on the bubble. I think Saxton has a real chance to make it, and if he does, it will be at the expense of Davis, not Cumberland. I realize Davis is the blocking TE, but IMO he's not that good, thats why he's on, what is it, his sixth team? So I see Saxton and Davis in competition for the last spot and right now I'm giving the nod to Saxton. I agree that Sudfeld is on the bubble, but I think he's a goner.

Wide Receiver - 5-6
15 - Brandon Marshall 6'4" 230 Central Florida (acquired in trade with Chicago)
87 - Eric Decker 6'3" 214 Minnesota
11 - Jeremy Kerley 5'10 190 TCU
84 - Devin Smith 6'0" 196 Ohio State (2015 Draft Pick)

82 - Quincy Enunwa 6'2" 225 Nebraska

89 - Devier Posey 6'1" 210 Ohio State (acquired via trade with Houston)

83 - Jonathan Rumph 6'5" 220 Georgia (UDFA)
Agreed for the most part, only I would label Hakim, Powell and Graham as long-shots with Rumph.

Offensive Line - 8-9
74 - Nick Mangold 6'4" 305 Ohio State (C)
60 - D'Brickashaw Ferguson 6'6" 310 Virginia (T)
68 - Breno Giacomini 6'7" 318 Louisville (T)

72 - Wesley Johnson 6'5" 297 (C/G)
79 - Brent Qvale 6'7 315 Nebraska (T)
61 - Sean Hooey 6'9 304 Cincinnati (T)
I have Harrison likely to make the team and Wes Johnson on the bubble, the rest I concur with.

Defensive Line - 5-7
96 - Muhammad Wilkerson 6'4" 315 Temple (DE/DT)
91 - Sheldon Richardson 6'3" 294 Missouri (DT/DE)
94 - Damon Harrison 6'4" 350 William Penn (DT)

76 - Davon Walls 6'7" 290 Lincoln (UDFA)
79 - Jordan Williams 6'4" 287 Tennessee (UDFA)
I have Douzable and Walls on the bubble, and I would tag Talley and Jordan Williams as the long-shots.

Linebacker - 7-9
52 - David Harris 6'2" 245 Michigan
98 - Quinton Coples 6'6" 285 North Carolina (DE?)
56 - Demario Davis 6'2" 235 Arkansas State

55 - Lorenzo Mauldin 6'4" 259 Louisville (2015 Draft Pick)
93 - Jason Babin 6'3" 270 Western Michigan (DE?)
97 - Calvin Pace 6'4" 265 Wake Forest
51 - IK Enemkpali 6'1" 272 Louisiana Tech (DE?)
57 - Trevor Reilly 6'5" 245 Utah
54 - Jamari Lattimore 6'2" 229 MTSU (Free Agent Signing)
58 - Erin Henderson 6'3" 244 Maryland (Free Agent Signing)
53 - Joe Mays 5'11 244 North Dakota State (Free Agent Signing)

49 - Taiwan Jones 6'3" 252 Michigan State (UDFA)
44 - Deion Barnes, Penn State 6'4" 255 (UDFA) (DE?)
59 - Julian Howsare 6'3" 255Clarion (UDFA)
I have Mauldin as a lock to make the team (no way we're cutting a third round pick out of his first training camp) and I have Taiwan Jones on the bubble. Babin, IMO, is a long-shot. For all of his fanfare, he had a grand total of 2 Sacks last year, and IMO that doesn't buy an old man (in football years) another year. BTW Good Call putting Pace on the bubble. A lot of people would categorize him as likely to make the team, but I think you have it right.

Cornerback - 6
24 - Darrelle Revis 5'11" 198 Pitt (Free Agent Signing)
41 - Buster Skrine 5'9" 185 Tennessee-Chattanooga (Free Agent Signing)
31 - Antonio Cromartie 6'2" 210 Florida State (Free Agent Signing)
43 - Dexter McDougle 5'10" 196 Maryland (INJURED RESERVE 2014)
27 - Dee Milliner 6-0 201 Alabama (INJURED RESERVE 2014)

22 - Marcus Williams 5'11" 195 North Dakota State
30 - Darrin Walls 6'0" 190 Notre Dame
36 - Curtis Brown 6'0" 185 Texas
34 - Keith Lewis 6'1" 190 Lynchburg
32 - Deshaun Phillips 5'11" 182 Tarleton State
I have it exactly the same way.

Safety - 4
25 - Calvin Pryor 5'11" 207 Louisville
21 - Marcus Gilchrist 5'10 198 Clemson (Free Agent Signing) (Injury)

37 - Jaiquawn Jarrett 6'0" 196 Temple
39 - Antonio Allen 6'0" 210 South Carolina
45 - Rontez Miles 6'1" 210 California (PA)
35 - Durrell Eskridge 6'3" 207 Syracuse (UDFA)
I have Jarrett and Allen as likely to make the team, if only because we are carrying at least four safeties (I would think) and they look like the most likely candidates for the third and forth spots.

Punter - 1
1 - Ryan Quigley 6'3" 188 Boston College
6 - Jake Schum 5'11" 211 Buffalo
I have Quigley on the bubble and Schum as a long-shot. IMO its far more likely than not that our punter is not even on the roster as of yet. Look for the Jets to pounce on a punter at the final cutdowns.

Kicker - 1
2 - Nick Folk 6'2" 222 Arizona
8 - Andrew Furney 5'10" 210 Washington State
Exactly.

Long Snapper -1
46 - Tanner Purdum 6'3" 275
Exactly.

I would say Darrin Walls is more of a lock at CB than Dexter McDougle going into the start of camp .... Walls has shown he is a functional rotation player, McDougle has shown nothing as of yet ...... McDougle is also eligible for the practice squad.

I think it will be interesting to see how it plays out with McDougle, Milliner, Williams, and Walls...what Bowles asks CBs to do may be different from what Rex asked them to do, so its hard to determine based on what we historically saw from these CBs when we dont know what the expectations are moving forward.

I think all the CBs have a clean slate, because Bowles is giving new instructions to them and watching to see how they react in practice and later in games.

I dont feel it is safe to say the priority based on historical performance outside of Revis, Cro, and Skrine who are the only locks, IMO.

83 - Jonathan Rumph 6'5" 220 Georgia (UDFA)

Probably my big disagreement. I think we keep at least 6 but very possibly 7 WR this year because of special teams. Owusu is definitely likely to make the team if not a lock. Unless we cut Enunwa I think he has a good shot at making team. Powell and Graham have shots if they can return punts. I think Rumph at a minimum makes practice squad. He is not just an extra receiver, he has flashed quite a bit in camp it seems.
