Jets Activate CB Bless Austin

The Jets have activated CB Bless Austin and waived LB B.J. Bello.

Austin, the team’s sixth-round pick in 2019, was placed on the active/non-football-injury list July 22. The Rutgers product has been rehabbing from a knee injury suffered in the Scarlet Knights’ 2018 season-opener. In four years at RU (25 games), the 6’1”, 198-pounder racked up four interceptions, 18 pass defenses, two sacks and five tackles for loss.

Bello signed with the Green & White last Wednesday after a stint with on the Packers practice squad earlier this season. A 2017 undrafted free agent, the 6'3", 229-pounder has totaled eight tackles in 19 games with the Browns and Eagles.

After this year's start, I built a replica of my church's holy candle room in my den. Figured it might help. But check it out, even God thought we sucked so bad that he/she/it extinguished all the candles.

last fall was the last time Blessaun Austin played a meaningful game...
the problem is even tho they activated him he has not practice to get into game shape so it is highly unlikely he plays, unless they do a snap count... Austin was a 1st round talent but durability was the major hiccup for him fall to day 3 of the draft... If he can stay healthy he could be the next diamond in the rough for us, but think he has the same makeup as Dee Milliner but less risk with high reward...

it is a shame that Roberts won't play now how are we suppose to lose, he gets PI flags at least twice a game with one or two holding calls now the Giants will have to actually try to beat us straight up...

I know, right? There goes my weekly drinking game we call "dusted". Every game Roberts gets dusted by an opposing receiver, you take a shot or drink a beer. I was getting pretty smashed the last few weeks.

Hope the kid can stay healthy, back to back seasons lost to ACL tears on the same knee is rough .
What happened to FU Jet fans Roberts... Did his head begin to turn forcing him to have the rest of the vertebrae in his neck fused?

I'm not a fan of Roberts. He either gets beat for a big gain or he gets a huge penalty because he can't cover his man. Once in awhile he makes a good play so they keep using him. Overall I believe I'd like to see what Austin or Canady can do. We need corners so lets give these guys a chance to show what they can do.
