Jets and Wilkerson appear to be trying to get it done.

I hope he doesn't expect 12-14.
Well, Justin Houstin is asking for $16 mill and WRs Cobb a Torrey Smith are asking $10-12 per, so I expect Wilkerson to get 12-14.
I think I read that Cobb will end up around $9-10 million. We have the cap space for Mo so I want this deal to get done regardless of the price.
me too. I think Mo might be a bit overrated. He's great, but something about him that I don't think he belongs in the elite category.

If cobb wants that much just keep Harvin
I think Mo is very good..and to be honest..he does it by himself...if th Jets could get a great pass rushing demon (Fowler/Ray/Gregory) to take some attention away from him, I think he would be even that much better....along with Richardson in mix would help Mo immensely...plus hes a good soldier...
Well, Torrey already turned down $7 and $8 mill per year contracts from his hometown team, so you know he wants $10ish.
Cobb is asking for $9 or 10 from Gb, reportedly as I think Elias pointed out, which likely means he gets even more if he goes someplace else. Makes Decker for $8.5 look like a steal.
I've been the person saying keep harvin the entire time.
That's before he kind of stunk up the joint this past season. As for Cobb, I'd be surprised if that figure went higher for someone who mostly plays the slot. I saw his agent is asking 9M.
As things fall in place, you may well be right about Harvin. Maybe we need to hold on to him. I'm not against this at all. Don't we have a late date to make that decision?

The Torrey Smith situation is as of today, Ravens cant get a deal with him right now because he wants more money. He went to College Park so he grew up about 20-30 minutes away from b-more, and he's still turning down $7-8 mill a year.
I wouldn't expect him to take less than Decker got last year.
Local guy Pierre Garcon got 5 years $42.5 mill, or over $7 mill per year for the Skins...Smith will get more than that...so the dream we sign him for $7-8 is misguided, IMO...and Garcon never had a 1000 yard season before signing with the skins.

There will be a good sized raise in the cap this year. It's very difficult to determine what the prices will be for players. The first few days of FA will set the new Bench Marks
