What is Bowles blueprint exactly???? Is it the same blueprint as the his coaching masterpiece against the Buffalo Bills last season?? Whatever that blueprint is, it had better call for keeping Darron Lee COMPLETELY clean from blocks with the DL short Sheldon Richardson, because if Lee gets engaged by a OL and the play is headed in his direction???? Suffice to say the Jets will be giving up a lot of big plays today.
Getting after Dalton is something this team shouldn't have any problem with. The DL is the very strongest area of this team. Assuming Lee can correctly defend the wheel route, this DL will keep the Bengals RB's to less than 50 yards. From there, I like the Jets chances getting after Dalton when Mo and Leo are both rushing at the same time.
Fitz has always had problems taking what the defense is giving him. Even last season when Marshall was completely covered, Fitz would throw to him. So it seems to me that Fitz just isn't very good at taking what the defense is allowing. I also wonder how patient he can be given the fact that he'll probably be getting nailed quite often. The OL is going to be a major problem for the team today and it will likely cost the Jets the game...
