Jets bring in C/G Stork

Bleacher Report and numerous other sources saying the Jets are giving FA C Stork a look-see. He was released by NE after that failed physical following thr trade to Washington. Could this be a sign that Carpenter isn't doing well enough to play Sunday?

we need depth, and security for the interior line...

I am not sold on Wesley Johnson and it seems neither is the front office as depth on the line... Johnson is considered to be our G/C depth behind Carpenter/Winters and Mangold... Dozier also considered a G/C has carved a role on special teams... Maybe Carpenter is a wake up call that they need someone more as depth or situational starter...

Wesley Johnson is the only active linemen besides the starters, if carpenter can't go,Saturday isn't the time to interview,now is. Even if he does go, having only one backup, is gambling.

Stork would not be a bad signing, he is still relatively young, has game experience and a bit of a nasty streak.. also might be somewhat helpful to the Jets D-line on Brady's playcalling and blocking schemes.

Concussions. Huge red flag.

As for Wesley Johnson, I was not sold on him, either - until I saw him on the field against Buffalo. He had an excellent game, even with a penalty.

I agree, Sack. He was surprisingly effective vs the Bills.
