Jets CB Rashard Robinson arrested for marijuana, careless driving

Jets CB Rashard Robinson was arrested in December after police found him in possession of edible marijuana, according to the Associated Press.

Robinson, who also reportedly was charged with careless driving, was allegedly found with "THC infused Peanut Budda Buddah Candy."

The Jets acquired Robinson from the 49ers at the end of October via trade. The former fifth-round pick tallied two tackles and one start this season for the Jets. He was inactive in weeks 16 and 17 due to "a coach's decision."

Robinson went to LSU, but his time in college was marred by suspensions and failed drug tests.

Let’s cut this fool. He’s not worth the baggage. The one time he got on the field he got burned. He cares more about being high than player. A shame for some a fringe player.

Nothing wrong w marijuana, just do it after the season.

He was a 4th round pick, we gave up a 5th round pick to the 49s for him. He also had multiple red flags in college and a couple off field issues with the 49s.
Was a bad trade and hopefully he will be released as soon as the legal process plays out.

We positively don't need him taking up space on our roster and that is basically all he is good for. I hope they cut him right away.
