Jets claim C.J. Goodwin off waivers from the Cardinals

The Jets claimed cornerback C.J. Goodwin off waivers from the Cardinals, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Goodwin, 28, signed with the Cardinals on December 15 after the Falcons cut him. He played in 12 games for Atlanta last season and two with Arizona.

The Cardinals re-signed him April 3 before waiving him Tuesday.

He has played in 28 games with one start in his career.

The Falcons moved him from receiver to cornerback in 2016.

So it seems that the roster has accidentally become a rooster thanks to a runaway keyboard and is 100 years old instead of a roster that is ballpark 100 players deep which probably isn't a record even though it wouldn't surprise me if it was. Good catch Blindside. Sorry about that, Sometimes I think faster than I type and oftentimes it's the other way around. At any rate it's one less now that Petty has been waived.
