Jets Current Roster (Post Cutdown to 75)

Below is the current roster as it stands now, following the first set of cuts.

I am leaving out Devin Smith and Breno, who are on the IR and PUP respectively, so we receive two roster exemptions.

I am also subtracting Sheldon Richardson who will start the season on suspension, so we receive a roster exemption.

Having excluded them, the current roster stands at 73, so 20 CUTS off the list below are required to get us to 53 on opening day, then one player will have to be cut the following week one to make room for Sheldon.

BLACK = Locks to Stick (42)
RED = Likely Goners (11)
BLUE = On the Bubble (20)

If the 42 Locks are all correct, as are the 11 Goners, that means 9 Bubbles have got to burst.

We're excluding Sheldon because he's suspended for week one and you get a roster exemption for suspended players. The roster we're projecting here is the roster we set when we cutdown to 53. The following week, when we add Sheldon, there will have to be a corresponding cut.

You are correct 41, but I have a tough time believing that this kid can't contribute. Not sure what's going on, other than nagging injuries but anyone who can catch 30+ balls as a rookie in a Rex Ryan offense has something to offer.
