Who cares if they learn the scheme and get better by the end of the season. This season is about building a foundation with all that the young guys and the kid QB .
The offense has proven that it can score when all thugs are working.
Early on the defense showed promise when the kids were starting and displayed their speed . They also showed their inexperience.
There is talent on this team but it’s young and lacks experience. Patience is what’s needed, by the owner and the fans . The media is what it is what it is .

While you can't coach speed, you also can't coach size and strength.
This team is undersized because of the decision to play college safeties at linebacker. And as a result they have been manhandled by bigger, stronger teams. And there's no getting around that.

One is hurt and out for the season and the other plays sparingly . Those two are not the problem. The problem is the other two . Mosley is playing out of position and Davis is and always has been a bust .

The scheme is the problem. A good coaching staff tailors the scheme to personal , that's not being done here.

Yes it is and was . At the start of the season Mosley was in the middle with the 2 kids outside and the screen wasn’t such an issue . After Sherwood got injured the first time all heck broke down and it hasn’t changed since . It’s gotten worst since Mosley moved outside to accommodate Davis in the middle. Davis can’t diagnose squat and Mosley is always late getting to the ball carrier.
The scheme is not the problem, the players and the execution is an issue .

Cover 3 or 6 on first and second down, man on 3rd down. They are too predictable and do not have the talent to compensate. You have to tailor the scheme to fit your players. Moving players out of position and limiting your best players is a recipe for failure. The scheme has not changed at all,
