On the sideline on Sunday, he looked like he already knew it was happening.

Do you think they consulted with Rodgers before they did it? (sarc/off)

I didn't expect that. It shows that they care which is maybe a good sign.... Have to have accountability in a result-oriented entertainment business where you repeatedly display bad performances.

Saleh never once held anyone accountable. I've said this for two years.
This is why I laughed when I saw Jets fans talking about bringing back Rex. You can't fire someone for being too nice and not holding players accountable and then bring back the one guy who was even worse at accountability.

Saleh was fired for not winning. Should have been fired last year. No idea if this will spark the team, but the way it was heading was down and we were spiraling.

I understand them firing him and it needed to happen, if they’re season didn’t turn around but it thought he would get to the end of this year at least. This isn’t surprising but it’s VERY SURPRISING!

Is it possible that this is not a daring football-related move to save the season but simply Woody reacting to the Lebanon patch? It would explain why Hackett and Carter are still there. To extrapolate further, could Saleh have worn the patch in the hope of being ejected from the Titanic as the engine rooms start to flood whilst retaining his salary for the balance of his contract?
