Then Cleveland's the right place.

Here's the difference between a franchise like ours and the Cowboys, we draft Wilkerson and Richardson and they are both HOF type talents but not living up to it. While the Cowboys pick up a 23 year old undrafted player off the Chiefs waiver wire and he is turning out to be a beast. Can't remember his name but he is a 6'7", 285 lbs monster DE that will probably be the next mean joe green for them. I know mean joe green didn't play for the Cowboys but you get my point.
This is so sad, and here's one of the main problems with the Jets, it's like they have a curse over the franchise. They are always screwing up their draft picks. For whatever reason!!! They never seem to get those game changing franchise HOF quality kind of players and even when they do, something goes wrong with them. Richardson and Wilkerson could be these kind of players, and I think we all can agree with that, but their attitudes are killing it for them.
Look at other drafts picks the Jets have picked, Nick Mangold, DaBrick, Shaun Ellis, Chad Pennington, Keyshaun Johnson, Darrell Revis etc-etc... These are quality HOF game changing players but did they ever play to they top ability to be that game-changing HOF player. IMO Revis has but fell off drastically over the past year or two. Everyone else hasn't because of injury, attitude, or whatever. Makes me wonder if these players were drafted by someone else, would they be that player to their full potential?
Same with Richardson and Wilkerson? Is it because they were drafted to the Jets that they aren't living up to their full potential? Or is this who they are and would be that way with any team? Teams like the Pats, Giants, Cowboys and Steelers just seem to breed quality players. It just never seems to fail with them. Teams like the Jets and Browns players seem to go the other way or just never seem to live up to their full potential. Game changing, HOF type of player.
Maccagnan would be smart to get a late round pick this year and a conditional pick in 2018...
In a way the Jets will be sticking it to him... He can go out and flounder we will still get compensation but he will hurt his own stock for a new contract... But if he realizes he needs to step his game up we end up getting compensated for his play as well...
I know it isn't the sexiest of moves but this way the team that does take him at worst will surrender this year's 6th and next year a 4th for taking a chance on him... If he has a breakout season which we all believe he will because it will be his contract year, we could see at best a 2nd round... Who knows could be a conditional 4th with parameters that we can see a 1st on strong play by him... We all agree he has the talent, just a shame is such a little bitch...
I would get rid of him for a 5th.......of whiskey that is
Adversity brings out people's true colors.
Sheldon has shown his true colors. Let him be someone else's headache from now on. We're not getting anything more than a third round pick for him if we're lucky. Probably more like a 5th.
