So why doesn't Izzy LEARN to pass block? He's a pro and has plenty of time at the training facility. It's not as if it's a difficult thing to teach. It will be disappointing if he is cut before the chance to show his perimeter rushing behind a proper NFL line.

So true. I believe they are considering keeping him based on the fact that they don't want to admit that he wasn't what they thought he was other than his speed.
