Looks like we may have unearthed another interior DL gem in Jonathan Marshall. Gonna be hard to keep all these guys.

Unable to watch due to widespread power outage for six hours (5-11 PM) in my area. Will watch rebroadcast on NFL Network 10AM. I got my intel from this board thanks, and reading articles from the pundits. Media was kind to Zack Wilson. He did a descent job. No turnovers and left the game clean. From the team stats, complete domination by the Jets. Defense will be exciting to watch. Run defense may be an issue early. I'm sure that can be cleaned up. Guys have to control their gaps. Naggar may lose the kicking job. Hamilcar Rashed Jr and Denzel Mims had major contribution, and the RB's by committee controlled the game. Never mind the 2 YPC. We ran the ball 40 times. That's commitment!

I realize that Judge kept out his starters but when we run 87 plays to their 44, and had the ball 40 minutes to their 20, that can't be ignored. Jets held them to less than 100 yards for three quarters. Good recipe for success: solid dominating d with a complimentary run game. That takes the pressure off the QB. It reminds me of the early Rex days (without the mouth of course). We're on to the Packers and those joint practices.

It was a good first step for the 2nd worst team in the league a year ago. We shouldn’t forget that fact. Now a lot has changed since then but it will take a while for the pieces to get comfortable with each other and in their new systems. Rookie qb and coach will also cause hiccups along the way but I really like what I see.
