I'm praying our draft doesn't work out like this.
Nothing like a slow WR in the run and gun NFL offence of 2016.

how'd did drafting a vertical option last year do for us?

at least Treadwell can catch the damn ball...

Why would you invest a 1st rounder on a guy who would be the #4 option in this offensive scheme? Marshall, Decker and Forte will all see more targets.

Add to the fact that his physical gifts seem to be somewhat limited.

This is a terrible draft for WR vs 2014 & 15.... Treadwell might not have even gone in the top 5 WR taken in the past two drafts.

Marshall could be playing his final season this year and next year the receiver core is weak... Rather groom his replacement now... Gailey loves to run 3 receiver sets and moved Decker to the inside to be that slot split end type receiver this opens up a need which was a revolving door last season across from Marshall on the outside... Fill the need now, because there is no telling if Devin Smith can be that guy now and long term... Even with Marshall, Decker considered 1, 2, Treadwell would be considered 2B...

The WR mix next year can't be any worse than the list of this year. Drafting a WR this year is like the guy who buys $2,000 rims for his Pontiac Sunbird. You can dress it up, but the car still sucks. Until the QB situation is resolved, you're missallocating resources by placing high values on the WR position. Especially when we have two studs already.

Let's not talk about what could happen with Marshall, heck, he could retire next year or play 5 more. Regardless the fact that you picked up a quality player like him for the cost of a 5th rounder, shows exactly what a waste of resources drafting his replacement would be in the 1st

If we were talking about a special talent in Treadwell, that would be one thing, but this guy is just the tallest midget in this years terrible WR class.
