Expect some depth signings but probably not anything splashy.

Beachum and Winters aren’t going anywhere this year due mainly to salary. Shell is still a guy they’re hoping grows into that starting RT. And Carpenter is still a good player, despite a somewhat down year last season. Not having a good Center contributed to that, I’m sure.

Any o-line moves will be via the draft. Looking for a LT to eventually replace Beachum might be a priority.

Carpenter also has to be replaced. Not a good fit for the new zone blocking scheme. I think winter's will have a much better year. Center play hurt and he was injured all season. Beachum is fine but getting his replacement would be a solid move in this draft. Agree with shell. He will be givien time to grow and could be a good RT .

A LT in the Draft would be great in either the 2nd or 3rd Rd. I expect us to part with 1 or possibly 2 2nd Rd picks in moving up if we draft one of the Top QB's.

Jonotthan Harrison and Dakota Dozier are two options. I read that the team is high on Dozier to eventually become a starter. Harrison is a FA I think but he was the injured backup to Johnson for most of last year.

I don't know if Chubb will fit our Defense. Do you actually believe he will be an ER?

Won’t apply now, because they’re not taking Chubb. But hypothetically, the Jets need a DE and an OLB. Chubb is often referred to as an “Edge” player.

Now maybe Bowles and KC don’t see him as a specific fit for their defense, but I know Chubb puts QB’s on the butts. And that’s something we need on D.
