Jets interest in C Brian Schwenke

The Daily News is hinting at Jets interest in Titans C Brian Schwenke, who is coming off his rookie deal. He's 25, and has started a total of 28 games in his four NFL seasons. His injuries led to the Titans getting Ben Jones from Houston, but with the Titans showing interest in keeping him, it is reassuring. Healthy, and he's a solid starter for the near future, but health is a major question mark. Need the team doctors to really do their due diligence on this if the Jets pursue him.

if this is the case then what is happening with Wesley Johnson a restricted free agent are we keeping him and if so move him to guard with the re-signing of Brian Winters are they planning to shop James Carpenter?

I like Wesley Johnson, but for depth purposes. To me, he is a valuable backup/spot starter who can play any of the three interior positions.
