We pretty much figured that would happen.Quincy gone too
It's ok we signed a 37 year old LB.Quincy gone too
He was pretty good last year, 11 th in receptions allowed out 114 CBs, 5 picks 8 pass broken up. 2 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries. 88 tackles and a 74 yard TD. For $5 mill it's a great signingThey just signed a CB that can not cover or tackle. Nahshon Wight. He had 5 interceptions and a couple of forced fumbles. The rest of the time he basically watches the receivers catch and run.
5 picks is 5 more than the entire Jets roster last year combined. They just signed a CB that can not cover or tackle. Nahshon Wight. He had 5 interceptions and a couple of forced fumbles. The rest of the time he basically watches the receivers catch and run.
He did have a breakout season, mostly because of his 5 interceptions and two forced fumbles one of which he returned for a touchdown. BUT, When I checked his stats they said he got beat on 64% of his targets. He was targeted 83 times, allowed 53 completions for 725 yards, and 7 touchdowns, (tied for 5th most among cornerbacks, per PFF). He had a total of 11 pass deflections. He wound up with a 65.1 PFF score. That being said I agree that it was a great signing. Even if they can't improve his deficiencies the havoc he creates for offenses is worth the tradeoff. He was pretty good last year, 11 th in receptions allowed out 114 CBs, 5 picks 8 pass broken up. 2 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries. 88 tackles and a 74 yard TD. Jets just got worse.Max Mitchell coming back on a 1 year deal.
