The New York Jets had a week off. We fans, along with the fans
of three other NFL teams, were left with no win to celebrate nor
loss to mourn. After the adrenalin surge of 8 game weeks, it's
something of a let-down. Strange thoughts begin to seep upward
from the depths of our minds. Should we hope for more losses
in exchange for better picks at draft time? Whether a fan should
think that way's a topic for a very long thread.
But enough of that. This old timer Mets fan roots for wins every
game week. Let the draft picks fall where they may. I want to see
my team win, plain and simple.
On November 9th at 1 PM EST the Jets will take the field at MetLife
Stadium. The hosted opponent will be the Cleveland Browns. Now,
Cleveland isn't exactly a Super Bowl contender. They're a 2 and 6
team. But for a mistake here or there, our Jets could easily be a
2 and 6 team, or even better. In other words, we have a good shot at
another win. I don't know how the bookies see it, but I'm rooting
for the Jets all the way.
