Maybe Zach or Zack or sack can play both ways. The way people are talking after a few plays he can do everything lol. Hey I am excited but let's let it play out. We do need a rusher

Why trade Draft picks for band-aids. We are not going any where this year. Keep the picks and build for a future run.
I understand and support your point of view, but, consider this. Barnett is only 25 years old, has already demonstrated that he has NFL level skill at his position, a position of need for us. If he pans out, no reason to think he wouldn't, he could be part of the Jets future. Thus trading for him could be considered building for a future run.
He's expensive to feed weighing in at 26 pounds but how often do you find a cat that loves football, or maybe it's my yelling at the TV he likes. I'm not sure. He seems to think Eagles and Jets are considering a deal for Barnett who becomes a free agent in 2022. I haven't been keeping tract of his predictions so I don't know how well he has done in the past so there's always a chance he could be wrong. He is just a cat after all.
First off I'm all in for winning the division ( it's always possible) so " not going anywhere" is not an optional point of view

how has the draft thingy worked out so far? It's been 20-21 years since John Abraham - let's get past the fantasy of only drafting a pass rusher. Jets need to look under every rock and this would set up nicely for next season to have bookends. Keep drafting for it, but it's one of the harder things to find if you're not drafting for it in the top 5 or so.
there's one of my favorite Jets growing up - Wesley Walker........he was something else to watch.
