To be competitive this season the Jets need to hit on this draft they are in need of 3 starters:
This year, QB, EDGE LB, and NB not only completes the roster but will setup on how or who will be here next year (veteran players)... If players like Cameron Clark is one and whomever we draft this year can crack the starting lineup by next year then next year they can focus on a right tackle and possibly a center... The rebuild of the OL would be complete...
After this year do we really think Marcus Maye will be here if he doesn't get a new contract before the season starts and will Ashtyn Davis be that guy or is he just a special teams role player...
Jamsison Crowder is on final year of his deal, does he get a new contract or do we draft his replacement? Keelan Cole on a one year deal and no word if the new regime likes Lawrence Cager...
Jarrad Davis on one year deal, basically a try out deal... NO word on where CJ Mosley fits on the defense, so may questions but after this draft will open the doors to find out what or who will be here moving on....
- LB - EDGE to round out the starting rotation
- QB because we have only James Morgan
- NB because there is no guarantee Javelin Guidry is a starter
- OG is the curious spot because we have one guy in Cameron Clark that should take one job but drafting another guy should be in the cards
- SAF another deserving position has one starter one developmental player but needs another guy just in case
- WR - Slot what will be of Jamison Crowder after this season?, who will be the next slot guy?
