It would leave our draft picks free for positions of need.

It would lead to a longterm future rather than overpaying for another washed-up vet.

This regime has to undo 6 years of a disaster. I also don't think Rodgers is that much better than Tyrod at this point in their careers. At least Tyrod can move around. Rodgers is a statue and everyone that played against him said it was easy because he won't move.

I doubt either of those statements are true but I’m not that big on either of them. So if they don’t fall to the Jets, they don’t. If either do and the Jets draft one I’m ok with that too. Just don’t trade up for either one and don’t pass up on either if they are in your lap. Trade down and get that ransom back, if that’s the case!

That sounds good in theory but the Jets won’t let that happen. If one of them is there, the Jets will draft him.

Exactly. They will not go with Tyrod or the non-existent JT. They will most likely go for a Vet and draft a kid for the sidelines.
