looking from this perspective the Jets could have an different approach to these 2 positions (FB/TE)

Julian Howsare formerly a LB listed at 6'3" 255 could move to TE... He is a willing/able blocker and has good hands as we seen in preseason... Not to mention he is quick...

Quincy Enunwa namely referred to as our new H-Back should be listed as the starter at TE with Howsare #2...

Kellen Davis is the only true blocking end on the team, considered #3...

All three could lineup at TE or FB when needed, if needed being Gailey doesn't rarely use both positions at the same time nor frequently enough to garner a player directly for that role...

Still scratching my head on why Bostick is on the team, maybe just a body to keep a roster spot warm for someone else but consider him #4...

I don't think we'll need to worry about Devin or Breno for awhile.

But when Sheldon comes back next week, I think the most likely candidates to get bumped to the PS are Dominique Williams or Lawrence Thomas. My guess is Williams because he's the more likely of the two to clear waivers. I think they will fear losing Thomas (this kid has real upside), so they'll keep the excess on the D-line for now.

HOWEVER, we might be waving Williams as early as tomorrow if we win a waiver claim.

I'm not saying they didn't earn their spots, but I don't think I lot of people expected them to stick on the 53 man roster.

One guy who deserved to get cut and wasn't, cause he's a recent high 4 on scholarship, is Brandon Shell who was dreadful.

Bostick would leave us with one TE so that won't happen
McDougle will leave us with only 4 CB's can't see that happening...

D williams is gone and L Thomas for sure with Shell, Bostick, MCDougle all possible cuts if we claim anyone off waivers at those positions..

Feel pretty good about this team other than the offensive line. No RT and no depth. To start go sign Josh Sitton and put Winters on the bench for depth. Still doesn't solve the RT position but adds a quality player who's still just 30.

He'd be a good signing to grab - but his expected salary in 2016 I think was $6m+ so not sure how he'd fit into our cap situation?

I believe ive read that they are changing Enunwas position to a permanant Tight End position.

I think it would be just semantics as I dont see Enunwa being an inline tight end, no matter what position he is listed as. I wish they would just use an h back designation to denote these types of players. The real question in my opinion is who takes over for Enunwa if he gets injured? Thats where I thought Amaro might fill in.
