We now have something to feel good about. I believe in Robert Saleh. I believe in Joe Douglas. I believe in this team and its' players this year and for years to come. Funny thinking this but I actually thank Adam Gase for one thing, selling Chris Johnson on hiring Joe Douglas. This season shows that we should be able to compete. That should not be taken for granted.
I'm curious to see what is in store for the regular season, how our coordinates gameplan, how they make adjustments during the game and at halftime. These games show promise. Yet I can't get overly excited. They're samples of what we may see. Games are vanilla. First stringers are held out or sprinkled in. There has to be caution playing key players. Practices don't have tackling. I saw many missed tackles yesterday. The run defense is a mild concern for two games. No need to find another PK for now. Feeney at LG isn't quite ready. Thank goodness we have AVG. But with the rash of injuries lately, I wouldn't bring back anyone sitting out. In fact, I would play our starters one series excluding Zack Wilson. Let him watch from the side lines. I know Saleh said he would play but it's okay to change you mind. With White having injured ribs there's no reason to play him either. Let Johnson play three quarters and allow Morgan to finish.
