I notice you left accuracy off your list. Throwing easy td balls into the stands or ripping off 6int games isn't a good way to start a career.

It's not even patience, Bowles is not gifting petty anything, he has to earn the spot. Earning something means competition. Hack gets reps, petty doesn't get a bigger head like geno.

MY bad... I think I was thinking faster than I was typing... My reference to his footwork knocking off his mechanics is why his accuracy is off.... LIke I said with the right coaching and the right student it is something that is fixable.... It's gonna be a rough go of it because he will have to think a lot about footwork all the time to get it right. But like I say repetition will bring second nature.... If the kid puts in the work he will get there....
I thought you intentionally left off accuracy. It's a minor side story, but the fact that hack even earned first team reps is a major step considering how bad he was. Of course if it was just to make petty earn his promotion, and not a vote of confidence, then he's still learning to qb.

There's also F-ints-Patrick or Fitzgarbage. Another good one would be Fitzdisaster. I don't care who they start, it could be a Jets cheerleader or stadium janitor. It could be the homeless guy that sleeps down the street from the stadium, just as long as it isn't Fitzbullshit.

I can't remember where I saw this, but one of the local papers mentioned in an article that the coaching staff indicated that Hack got a lot of reps, of course, while Petty was injured, and that during that time he demonstrated significant progress - and that is the reason that TB is splitting the reps between them to decide who will be the #2 for now.
He cant throw 3 TD's to his own teammates in a game.
This is what I hoped. I was hoping the tight competition was because of Hack being on the rise, rather than Petty on the decline.

I read a tweet from Kimberly Martin that Bowles was asked about Petty and Hack. He said something along the lines that Petty is our #2 but Hack isn't too far behind.
