I gotta believe if MM signs Hoyer and doesn't draft a QB early then that tells us a lot about how team hierarchy feels about one or both of the youngsters. Perhaps it is naive on my part, but I hope thats how it plays out this off-season as far as the QB position goes. I hope and pray that Hack is the heir apparent, and is just getting the time to develop properly.
That is a pretty good assessment. The one concern is that Hoyer is potentially more than a backup. He has put up legit starter numbers before getting hurt. His presence may keep one of the kids off the field.
