Agreed but we have a HUGE PROBLEM if Petty or Hack isn't ready to play, more so with Petty. Petty has seen the field a little last year and going on his third year now. How long does a QB need??? Hack is a little bit more understandable only going into his second year. However; this team clearly knows they are in a rebuilding stage and one would think they are not expecting to be a playoff contender or even scratch the surface. So if this the case, I would think Hack should be able to go in, have and show some idea of what he is doing and not look like a total idiot. Wouldn't you think so???

per schefter, chase daniels is visiting the jets today. given daniels started his career with the saints under sean payton, he may be a good match given morton coached under payton. not sure if daniels and morton overlapped with the saints but they share the background in payton's offense
It amazes me that the Eagles actually gave Daniel a 3 year 21 million dollar deal for a backup QB. Obviously they were able to release him with minimal cap hit, but it's still an eye opener of a contract for a guy with such limited experience.
