Quinnen Williams is doing his part to help some of the most indispensable people during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The 22-year-old Jets defensive lineman came up with a plan to donate $25,000 worth of healthy meals to medical professionals on the front line every week. Williams’ first donation went to healthcare workers at Morristown Medical Center near the Jets facility.
Williams hired a private chef — Brianna’s Nutrition Kitchen — to prepare the food. Each meal was labeled with a picture of a smiling Williams and this message: “Thank you for your Service! Love, Quinnen Williams NY Jets”
It’s a commendable gesture by Williams, who was the No. 3 overall pick last year. Williams told friends that he wanted to make a contribution to help those helping others during the pandemic. He ultimately insisted that medical professionals risking their own lives to help save others get healthy food options during their around-the-clock service.
