Field Yates reports that the team restructured CJ’s contract by converting 14.8 million into a signing bonus and creating 11.9 million in cap space. They also added two void years to the deal.

Almost 12 million in cap space. Softens the blow of that overpay a few years ago.

I would consider the bumps in the road to be Becton, Mosley, Gase, Lawson, and maybe Wilson or Saleh. But we have to wait and see for the latter 2. But this is mostly par for the course. All GMs have to deal with this.
