For years, I've lamented cursing my son as a Jet fan telling him if I were as loyal of a son to my dad as he is to me, we'd be Giant fans with 4 SBs in my lifetime.
as it turned out, my loyalty to his first love (baseball) is what cursed us both.
as a tike in NJ, he and I watched the Mets on WOR. when I moved to FL in 1981, we got the Prime cable package that included WOR so we didn't stop watching the Mets. the Jets were supposed to be so bad that upcoming year, the station ran jet features all summer. I got to know the team before seeing my first game. IDK why but in SWFL nbc ran Jet games the first month of the season. I was cooked.

I later realized that WOR was also home to the Knicks. My son loves that fandom of mine. hoping for a chip this year 8 more wins starting tomorrow.

One day, we'll be awesome. It'll be a worst to first thing and we'll all get back slaps & atta boys for being the loyal Jet fans in our sphere's of influence.A great day for us all!!!!

I don't get diddly on cable here in SW Connecticut. My provider - Frontier, dropped BOTH YES and SNY and I can't get to see any of my teams with the local announcers ( and they suck so bad they're rarely on national tv). What makes it worse, is the local stations stress the Boston teams in their coverage.
Life sucks

also, don't confuse rising to the top with the fact that s**t floats.

I live in Utah and never have to watch the Jets. It has made life so much better. I thought it was Utah that made my life better, but realized it was not watching the Jets.
