Looks like the Bills, Saints and Jets will be the teams we will be hearing about having the least cap room in 2016

Shocking!! If everyone lives up to their contracts... We will be fine... if they don't Only Revis and Skrines Contracts would hurt us in 2016... Not a concern here at all

a lot of the contracts given out this off-season have little to no guaranteed money after this year. so the cap picture probably is not as dire as this headline makes it out to be.

looking at OTC's 2016 page, brick ($14MM '16 cap hit) can be restructured, mangold can be restructured ($8.6MM), marshall ($8.1MM) and cromartie ($8MM) can be restructured (or cut), etc...

The cap is supposed to be $150 mil or more next year. Just because we'll be one of the teams with the "least", doesn't make it an issue. It just means that we won't be one of the teams with $40+ mil and be very active. We'll still have plenty of space for draft picks, Mo's new deal, and a moderate free agent(or two) if necessary. I don't want to "restructure" Brick. That pushes money down the road. Either keep him as is, get him to take a pay cut, or cut him out right.

I agree, it's very early to make such projections. A lot of ways we can go between now and the next offseason. We do have some FA's coming up next year - Wilk, Coples and Harrison if he's not extended this year.

Not always, you convert non gauranteed 2016 salary to gauranteed in exchange for a smaller number.
