I see probable wins vs the Browns, Panthers , Dolphins, Patriots,Jags and Saints. That's 6 wins. Could they surprise and pickup another one or two? I think it's possible.

Only complaint I have is that the opener vs Pittsburgh should have been a prime time game. Could it be flexed once Rodgers signs. That would be a true test to how the new staff handles outside noise and adversity.
It's going to be the talk of the league either way.

Browns have no QB and lost a lot of talent Fields is better than anything they have. Same for the Saints. Panthers suck, we just about always split with the Fins and they lost a lot in the off season. Jags have more holes than the Jets and Patriots are rebuilding. I thought we would beat them twice, but they improved considerably in the off season. I think we split with them.
I'm a Jet fan Moe. Will root always for this team to win. I know it bugs you . Did you get your Steelers jersey for opening day yet?

I figure at least 7 wins and a very possible 9. Until we see a game or 2 it's all just wild speculation. Setting the Jets up to play the Steelers in week 1 was a stick in the eye from the league but we are used to that. I hope the Jets completely demolish them just to get even.

They finally seem to be doing things right and it's about time. The funny thing is you praise the Steelers for potentially signing Rodgers and bash the Jets for signing Fields when Fields was the Steelers first choice and Rodgers is their last hope.
Rodgers is washed up and was the biggest mistake this franchise has ever made, and that's a big list to top.

I tend to agree that they are doing things right, or at least attempting too. The cap situation isn't helping a great deal. Getting the team younger makes it more sustainable for the future. We know, or at least should, that all of these guys are not going to measure up to expectations. I am prepared for the growing pains that will come with this restructure of both the team and staff. I also expect to see a few changes in the roster and maybe even the coaching staff during the first 2 seasons.
