we'll done G..Chris Nolan is in his first season with the Jets as a college scout, his fifth season scouting in the league, including the last three seasons as a player personnel scout (2016-18) with the Eagles.
Before Philadelphia, Nolan spent a season as a personnel assistant (2015) with the Baltimore Ravens after a season as a season equipment assistant (2014) with the Atlanta Falcons. He entered the league as a summer equipment assistant with the Miami Dolphins (2010). Nolan received a degree in sociology from University of Northern Colorado, where he was the men’s lacrosse team captain.
everyone else has been with the Jets from 2 years to 11 years...
jeezbus, the LT looks like a bigger version of an old school NBA power forward?!
anybody know if he can play??
In the spring HC Mack Brown told Grace Raynor of The Athletic that he believes Heck (6'8/315) can play in the NFL, and Pauline appears to be on board with that. In giving the senior tackle a fourth round grade, the draft analyst wrote that Heck "is a nice-sized, efficient tackle who blocks with solid fundamentals but lacks great athleticism and upside." The Kansas City native started all 11 games for the Tar Heels at right tackle last season, and he's now started each of the Tar Heels' last 22 games.

That’s just wonderful. So the same scouts who gave a high grade to Polite, Hack, Milliner, Coples, Milliner, and even Leo might still be on the payroll.
Does anyone know if Douglas hired new scouts when he was hired? I sure hope so!
I'm sure Douglas is reorganizing the scouting department. He knows they stink.
I agree Custer had some good scouts as I was toldIt's not necessarily the scouts fault, its the guy who is calling the shots on what to look for and ultimately select.
that scout is gone who gave a high grade on Hack, Leo and Polite this past offseason, Joe Douglas hired Nolan this year to replace that dude...That’s just wonderful. So the same scouts who gave a high grade to Polite, Hack, Milliner, Coples, Milliner, and even Leo might still be on the payroll.
